Mike Malone

Mike Malone has been a fixture on The  Southern California Blues scene for almost 20 years.
He has spent a good part of that time touring the USA and Canada as band leader and piano player for
Texas Sax Honker, The Legend, Joe Houston. He credits Joe as being his "musical father".
  Mike has written and published dozens of original tunes and has worked with numerous other artists including: Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson, Mick Taylor, Top Jimmy, Papa John Creach, Pee Wee Crayton, Guitar Shorty, Deacon Jones and Big Joe Turner. Mike is also co-composer and co-front man for Marc Ford and The Neptune Blues Society and is featured on Glenn's Shakehouse Records debut CD, Mr. Blues Jr.

   Rusty has been a touring musician for 20 years performing on the keys with many well known bands such as, Marshall Tucker Band, 38 Special, Lonnie Brooks,Ronnie Baker Brooks,Motor City Josh,Anthony Gomes, Curtis Salgado, Bernard Allison,  Jeff Healy, Michael Mcdonald, Robert Cray, Staple Singers, Coasters , Drifters, Platters, Cameo, Ohio players, Canned Heat, Taj Mahal, Foreigner, and a 20 year list that goes on............... Rusty Hall is featured on Nuthin' But A Thang! & has contributed more spectacular keyboard work to Glenn's just released "Original Blues", which just happens to be the 200th CD rusty has worked on.


 Thomas "Freight Train" Walker

Since sitting behind his first drum kit at the age of three, Thomas "Freight Train" Walker has been a dedicated, life-long musician. Thomas has been a studio session and touring drummer for the last 24 years and has toured and/or recorded with Dennis Rowland, Stan Devereaux, George Bowman, Donnie Dean & Diana Lee, Sister Sledge, J.D. Simo & Dirty Pool, The Big Pete Pearson Blues Band, and the Thermal Blues Express. Train has performed extensively with Kevin Mahogany, Ida McBeth and the Kelley Hunt Band, spending several years with each group .
Over the years, Thomas has participated in the recording of more than 20 CDs. It was at one of those recording sessions that he earned his nickname......a musician had listened to his steady beat and solid groove for hours, and declared "Man, you sound like a mother f#$%in' freight train!" The others agreed, and he's been Freight Train ever since.
For over a two decades Freight Train has performed with the Glenn Patrik Band on numerous tours and is featured on all four of Glenn's Shakehouse Records releases, The Wild Blues Child ©1991, Mr. Blues Jr. ©2006, Nuthin' But A Thang! ©2009 & now, Original Blues ©2010!
